OleMiss

Scott and I went to the "Central Arkansas Rebel Club" get together last night here in Little Rock. We were able to give a warm welcome to our new football coach Houston Nutt. Does the name sound familiar? That's because last year and for the past 10 years he has been the football coach for Arkansas:) Yes, Nutt resigned from the Arkansas Razorbacks and the same week was hired on at OleMiss. We are VERY excited about our new coach and are looking forward to going to a bowl this year:)

Texas!

Last weekend, Scott and I and his family made a trip down to San Antonio to visit his grandmother on his dad's side. We got to enjoy the Riverwalk and some good mexican food too! We then drove to Wimberly, TX and spent some time with some of Scott's mother's relatives. They live in a house on the Blanco River so we got to float it a couple times. It was amazing how low the water was in the river compared to how much water we have been getting here! But we had a great time and it was so nice to have a couple days off work and a couple days off looking for a house. AND in exchange we got to spend time with family.

Mother's Day

Scott and I had the privelege of spending Mother's Day with BOTH of our mother's this year! We appreciate how they have raised us to have personal spiritual relationships with the Lord. Nothing could be more valuable. It was also nice to see Rachel Madden at church. She will be here for a couple more days taking care of Martha Moffitt as she recovers from her knee surgery.
