Here and there...mostly here...

The month of August seemed to drag like molasses for me and I am SOOoooo glad it is almost over. Because...September means a trip to MN for a whole week to see my sister, my parents are back in town:), B.L.O.O.M., a football game or two, hopefully a little cooler weather, and the promise of FALL ya'll.

She just loves her shopping cart these days...especially when "baby" is in it...see below

I realize the picture may be a little creepy, but E L.O.V.E.S. her...and calls her baby which is so sweet. The other day I caught her kissing her baby:)

We were at Target the other day and Eleanor kept saying Izzy. It was starting to get annoying when I looked back down the aisle and saw this little lunchbox. haha.

Her ABSOLUTE favorite time of day. Storytime. She picks the books out of the bookshelf and i mean seriously is this not precious?!

I will be MIA for a little bit because I get to go meet my brand new nephew Brody (this little cutie) in the north woods....My brother is also making the trek up so it will be a small fam reunion...can't wait!!:)

The Zoo!

With the weather being a little cooler these days, Eleanor and I have been dying to get back outside! When my friend Tracy suggested going to the zoo yesterday, we were all in. I have to admit here that it was our first time to the LR zoo. But definitely won't be our last. The kiddos fav was the train ride and the penguins. Although, when Eleanor saw the bears she said "doggie?" haha. Good times...

goings ons

**meant to post this last week hah!

Recently, we discovered the race car/taxi cab? shopping cart at the grocery store. I know it will get old quickly and kinda was by the time we were done, but SO fun for Eleanor:)

I found this gem at the flea market in Tulsa for $10. Can't decide what color to spray paint it or where it will go, but right now it is hanging in the kitchen.

This weekend my dad came to visit and we had so much fun...Eleanor the most though. He is so good with kids. I just love my dad.

We also did some swimming. But, lets be serious here, it is too hot for swimming, it didn't last long. I love watching these two together though. They are in love with each other:)

We ate dinner at All Aboard (thanks to the coupon that we found hanging on our doorknob). Eleanor liked watching the train bring us food. Cute place!

And Sunday night, we walked the Two Rivers Bridge and trail. Perfect night for it, because I think the temp was actually under 100 that evening hah!:)

that's all for now...have a great week!!
