It's Hot!!

It seems like every summer I forget how hot it really gets down here. The other day I told Scott that I couldn't remember it ever being this hot and he gave me the "duh" face. I guess I just get sucked into the summer every spring by being excited about flip flops, tans, the lake, and what used to be going to camp all summer. I am totally a summer person but I wouldn't mind some relief from unwanted sweat:)

Izzy has now graduated from Puppy Kindergarten...we hope she remembers what she has learned. The final test the trainer had was a cheeseburger from Wendy's put down on the floor in the middle. The dogs were supposed to know "off" so well that they did not run to the cheeseburger and consume it. Izzy passed! Thing is, we get her home and she would totally eat a cheeseburger if we left it on the floor. Can we have a full time trainer in our house?

She is going through her teething stage and her adult teeth are starting to grow over her baby teeth. I am now worried. Scott looked at her mouth last night and it seriously looks very scary inside her mouth...her front teeth have three teeth coming over on top of them. And the back looks worse...clumps of teeth. Anyways, I am now determined to get those baby teeth out. If they don't come out, she will have to have surgery to remove her baby teeth and WHO takes their dog in to have surgery on their teeth! So really the only new pics I have right now are of course of Izzy and her new found love(a golf ball from Scott's golf bag). By the way, no new lawnmower yet. I'm still waiting for a "steal" to come along...going to borrow my parents for the time being:)

Mmmm...daddy your toes taste so good...

Thank You Paul Renes

I just wanted to give credit where credit is due. Paul Renes did all of our wedding photography and it came out just beautiful! Scott helped me today to "upgrade" the look of my blog. Ruth and Grace inspired me:)

So the picture up above is Paul's work and I just wanted to say thanks again to him...he's so good!

Izzy's First Dress:)

Okay so, I'm being brave by posting these pics esp since Scott prohibits Izzy from wearing clothes in public:) but I couldn't help it. I was in Target the other night and saw this dress in the dog section $10 and I was sold. Plus the little clip in the hair and this is what you get:) And yes that is a Veggie Tales toy in the background...You push the middle of him and he sings "God is bigger than the boogie man".

Not too much else exciting going on down here. My parents got home this weekend from a whirlwind of camps and are both sick with cold/cough symtoms. So we will prob get together with them soon when they feel better. Apparently the whole staff at Turkey Hill was sick!:( I remember those days.

Scott and I took our lawnmower in because Scott couldnt get it to start. This was like two weeks ago and prob b/c its the summer they finally called Scott today and said that it was the "crank shaft"? anyways that and some other things that totaled $250ish!! So I guess now we are "looking" for a new lawn mower since the one we had was his parents and is at least a couple years old. At first I thought, what a terrible time for our lawn mower to break down!! Then a lady at work reminded me that this is when everyone has their end if summer sales...any suggestions on a good cheap lawn mower??:)

Coming Soon!

So Izzy has chewed the cord that connects our camera to the computer...thus no pics to post:( The new cord should come in the mail soon so then I can do a real post. She has now chewed not only our camera cord(usb) but the charger to our phone and the charger to the computer...arghhh...anywoo Scott and I went down to Jackson MS last weekend where Scott was a groomsman in a wedding of one of his friends from University of MS. It was so much fun but SO hot the reception was outside and there was only like one fan! We also got to see his sister's and Tylers apartment where they have moved in to. Mary Margaret has two more years until she has her Pharmacy degree so their apt in Jackson is close to the hospitals where she will be working. The apartment is so cute! Little but very cute.

Will post more soon...
