On a less serious note...

A Toddler

My little precious baby girl. Is not a baby anymore. She's a TODDLER. When did this happen?? and where was I??? I know people say it goes by fast, but it REALLY does.

I have fallen so in love with this little girl it's really pretty ridiculous. Yesterday I tried to count how many times I kissed her oh so perfect chubby cheeks and I gave up. It was too many. too much. I was in Hobby Lobby last week, and the lady that was checking me out proceeded to tell me how she remembers her girl being that age and that she missed being able to kiss her cheeks. I got to the car and kissed her cheeks a million times. I love all the silly little jibber jabber talking she does in the back seat of the car. Sometimes I will turn off the Praise Baby and just listen to her. SWEETEST noises I've ever heard.

It's scary how much she tries to imitate me now. If I talk high pitch, she jabbers high pitch. If I get excited to see daddy, she gets excited to see daddy. She can say Izzy now. Everytime I say it. SO cute.

Most of all I love her laugh. It's more like an uncontrolled giggle. It usually it happens when I am changing her diaper. the minute I take that thing off, she is kicking her legs, waving her arms, and laughing uncontrollably. It also happens when I tickle her. She has a spot on her chest, under her arms, her lower belly, and the back of her thighs that will make her just start giggling hysterically. I LOVE IT. One big smile from her where her little cute teeth show will light my whole day up. It keeps me going.

I never ever in my life imagined falling this hard for her. But I have. It's not the love I feel for Scott. He is always my first and most important love. But it is a different kind of love. I am on my knees before my Lord, grateful beyond measure to Him for this little life. this being. this person that entered my world. I will never be the same again.

"Children are an inheritance from the Lord. They are a reward from Him."
