The Hunt Begins...

Scott and I have decided we are tired of paying rent every month and seeing the money go out of our pockets and basically into the air...bye bye money...It has bothered us for some time and now we are taking action!

We have decided to start looking at houses. Last weekend was our official "drive around and look". Are houses expensive everywhere or is Little Rock special for some reason?? A couple weeks ago when we started planning and putting our finances together, we realized that there is a whole lot that goes into buying a house. How hard can it be? Get a loan, make an offer, and BUY. We have realized that it's more complicated than that:)

And then there is the question of how much a month do you want to pay? How much of both of our income's do we included in what we can afford? Do we consider school districts? So many questions...Any advice?

All this to say I am really excited but it is a huge decision nonetheless and please pray for us as we seek to buy the house God has planned for us!

Great Times!

I was so sad to see Sarah and Greta leave...We had such a wonderful time together. We got lots of girl time in, it was good to catch up on each other's lives...and be with Greta:)

Izzy didn't want her playmate Greta to leave either...

When Greta first saw me...I don't think she knew who I was yet...I took care of that problem by the time she left:)

We like to watch Otto (my dad's dog) when my parents travel around the country...which they do a lot! Otto "puts up" with Izzy as you can see in the pictures:)

Izzy's First Snow

Izzy finally got to enjoy snow for the first time last week. I was beginning to worry that Little Rock wasn't getting any snow this year! But we finally did last Friday...in March!...This week's forecast is supposed to be sunny and in the 60's/70's. We have the weirdest weather here.

A Little Update

Life has been busy for our little household these days!

Sarah and Greta have come to visit!! They arrived last Wednesday and will be here until Friday...We have been having a blast...it has been so much fun to spend time with Sarah. Greta is growing up so fast too...she is talking in a different language that we are all trying to interpret:) It seems like she especially likes to talk to my dad. She gets very animated when she talks to him. The only real word she says is "hi". I will try to post pics soon but I keep forgetting my camera. Maybe I will steal some pictures from my mom...she has been a walking photographer since Greta has gotten here...barely taking time to eat:)

Scott and I went to Oxford this past Saturday night. We had promised Momu we would come visit her this weekend a while back. We were also able to go to an OleMiss basketball game. They beat Alabama...whoo! Going to games are so much more fun when we win:) We also got to spend some time with Momu which was really nice.

And last but not least last Saturday was Izzy's birthday. I can't believe she is a year old! And maintaining a healthy weight of 3.8 pounds:) One of her presents was a soft furry pink pig that oinks when you throw it. That one has been a hit:)
