7 Months

Yes, my baby is already 7+ months. This is seriously my favorite stage. He is SO stinkin cute right. And loveable. No attitude. Just all cuddles and sweet noises;) He is finally sleeping through the night...8-8ish. He is eating baby food and some regular food although he tries to bite more than he can handle sometimes. He is still very laid back and really only rolls over on the floor if there is something interesting he wants or if I'm coaxing him. He loves his sister. Everytime he sees her, his face lights up. It's so cute. We love our SWEET little Weston!!!

6 Months!

Okay so this post is a little late seeing as how Weston will be 7 months old a week from tomorrow...sniff sniff... Better late than never though!!!

Weston is such a laid back little man. Seriously. He just loves observing...his sister, me, Scott, whoever else will entertain him.

His schedule consists of short nap in the morning, longer nap in the afternoon, and maybe a short nap in the evening. He goes to bed anytime after 8pm and wakes up anytime after 7:45ish, with one feed still around 5ish.

He now has two bottom teeth. No more toothless smiles...sniff sniff. But it is cute when babies only have two bottom teeth;)

He still just wants to lay on the floor and rolls over sometimes but is in no hurry to crawl and move around at all. Like I said, verrryyy laid back.

We have been trying baby foods now. He likes peas, carrots, bananas, sweet potatoes...not a huge fan of greens hah.

This and that...

It's been awhile since I have posted...we are in full fall swing here at our house. Loving the cooler temps. Bible study at church has started back and we are reading The Meaning of Marriage by Tim Keller. We are only on Chapter 2 but I recommend it. So good. Both kiddies are in Mother's Day Out this semester. Can not believe little Weston will be six months on wednesday! I'll wait for his six month post to go into detail.

Eleanor is just a little chatter box these days and SO funny. She loves to repeat everything I say...gotta be careful;) We are working on potty training. Can I just say it sucks?! I mean she is doing pretty good. We try to only put a diaper on her when she sleeps or when we go out of the house. But it's been a verrry slow process. Most of the time she would rather have a diaper on and cries when I take it off hah.

We made a trip to Oxford for the Ole Miss/ Texas game a couple weekends ago. It was really fun. The game was at 8:15pm so Scott's cousin watched the kids while Scott and I went to the game. It was a nice date night. This weekend we went to Harvestfest with the kids on Saturday and Scott and I worked on a few pieces of furniture with the popular chalk paint that I got at White Goat up the street. I have to say I am very pleased with it so far!

She's "flying a kite" with the blinds string hah:)

playing outside in her big girl panties:)

goodbye summer...

We went to the lake this past weekend. It was kind of a last summer lake trip:( I know a lot of you out there love the fall season but I'm a summer kind of gal. Love it. I can deal with the heat. I hate being cold...anyways. My wonderful mother in law picked me and the kiddos up after MDO thursday and we headed up. Scott had to work friday so he met us up there. His sister Mary Margaret came up that night and his dad came up Friday morning. It was such a nice, fun, relaxing weekend. LOVED it. Spent some time in the pool at Red Apple, went out on the boat, made some yummy cookies, watched the Ole Miss game, and ate good food(as always). We may have to go up again this fall, we just won't be getting in the lake...brrrr.

the water was cold!
